Troy Seely Troy Seely Registered Physiotherapist

Troy is originally from St. John NB. He came to London to complete a research degree at the University of Western Ontario, met his wife Christina and has been with Body Mechanics since 2006. Troy practices out of our Bellwood Plaza location.

Troy is a professor at the University of Western Ontario's School of Physiotherapy and was awarded the 2011 Part-time Teaching Award of Excellence by the students themselves. Troy has completed the requirements of the Canadian Academy of manipulative Physical Therapy and is a fellow of this organization.

Troy and Christina welcomed their first son Connor in March 2011. Troy is a proud dad and always willing to show the latest baby pictures.

Len Cunning Len Cunning Registered Physiotherapist

Len completed high school in Red Deer, Alberta and then played professional hockey with the Johnston Jets (EHL), Nova Scotia Voyagers and the Baltimore Clippers (AHL).

He graduated from the University of Western Ontario's School of Physiotherapy in 1981 and achieved his goal of owning/operating a private orthopaedic physiotherapy practice in London, ON.

Len has successfully worked in orthopaedics and sports injuries for over 30 years and is known for his treatment of "over 55" sports-minded individuals. He has extensive experience treating workplace and motor vehicle injuries and also specializes in custom sports bracing and orthotics.

As an owner and Senior Partner of Body Mechanics Physiotherapy, Len continues to play Old Timer's hockey, enjoys golf and likes to travel with his wife Dee and three boys.

Erik Schmidt Erik Schmidt, Hons. BA(kin), MScPT, MClSc, FCAMT Registered Physiotherapist

Erik is an experienced and dynamic physiotherapist who has attained advanced training in manual therapy and the McKenzie MDT system. He completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at UWO before graduating with his Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen's.

Erik started his career with Body Mechanics at our Byron location until family commitments took him north. While living in Thunder Bay, Erik worked primarily with national-level athletes and closely with the local orthopedic surgeons. He is also a faculty member of NOSM (The Northern Ontario School of Medicine) where he lectures and hosts in-clinic orthopaedic mentorship for R1 and R2 physicians residents.

Upon his return to London, Erik completed a second Master's Degree in Manual Therapy at UWO. He now assists as an instructor to the program while concurrently qualifying to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapists— an internationally recognized, highest possible Canadian designation.

Kelly Baker Kelly Baker Registered Kinesiologist / Certified Athletic Trainer

Kelly obtained her B.A. Honours in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and her Masters of Science/Athletic Training from Indiana State University. She has worked at the Bellwood Plaza location since January, 2002. She is responsible for functional testing, ergonomic assessments, physical demands analyses, core stability/strengthening, flexibility and conditioning programs. She also measures for Custom Fabricated knee braces and fits off the self braces. She provides gait assessment and biomechanical analysis before providing plaster impressions for Custom Foot Orthotics. She participates in competitive volleyball, boot camps, weight training and runs half marathons.
